<p>Sue is a 55-year-old practice nurse who presents with a three-day history of a widespread itchy rash (pictured).</p><p>She has no past history of note, including no history of atopy.</p><p>She takes no medications and has not recently changed laundry or skin care products. No-one else at home is affected.</p><p>The rash developed the day after she wore a new Santa suit scrub top, which she purchased online from a “cheap and cheerful” mass clothing production company.</p><p>Normally, she launders new clothes on arrival, but this had arrived late, leaving no time to wash it prior to wear.</p><p>On examination, vital signs are normal. The key finding of note is symmetrical erythema and papules, as well as blisters to the neck, axillae, chest, groin and abdomen.</p>
