<p>Drew is a 51-year-old male who presents with a painless, slow-growing mass on the inside of the upper lip on the left. This has been present for at least two years.</p><p>There is no history of trauma or ulceration and no bleeding.</p><p>Drew is generally well with no significant past medical history. He does not smoke but drinks alcohol occasionally.</p><p>He denies any associated systemic, oral or dental symptoms.</p><p>On examination, there is a well-circumscribed, sessile, smooth-surfaced submucosal lesion (pictured) with a yellowish appearance. The lesion is non-tender, soft and compressible.</p>
