Depression is one of the most disabling medical conditions worldwide.1

In Australia, mental disorders such as depression have now taken over from musculoskeletal problems as the most common cause of long-term sickness, absence and work incapacity.2

As a result, it is estimated that depression costs the Australian economy more than $12 billion each year.3
