Critics of the paleo diet unite

A leading scientist has dissed the paleo diet, arguing it is based on a misunderstanding of how evolution works.
While this news may be hard to digest for its many disciples, not to mention Australia’s irritatingly vocal poster boy for the diet, Pete Evans, it must be increasing hard for them to remain faithful in the face of cold, hard evidence.
As the name suggests, the paleo diet is supposed to be based on the eating habits of our ancestors in the Paleolithic period.
It promotes mostly meat, fish vegetables, nuts, animal fats and coconut oil at the expense of
