We know for sure that a plant-based diet is best for heart health and longevity. Vegetables, whole grains, legumes, fruits, nuts and seeds reign supreme.
Animal foods such as meat and dairy should not be ruled out, but must take their place as support acts rather than the main event on our dinner plates. Most of the time, meat should be lean.
