Promoting medical tourism and superbugs
For some time now Thailand, Malaysia and South America have been the go-to places for Australians seeking cheap cosmetic work but now Australia is attracting its fair share of medical tourists from New Zealand, the US and even Asia.

“It’s substantially cheaper over there,” admits Dr Geoff Lyons, President of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons. “They can do a breast augmentation cheaper than I can buy the implants in Australia.”
