Six-minute medicine: debunking the myth

It’s official. Six-minute medicine – that being the average time of a GP consultation – is just a myth after all which does put our dear old moniker in a rather precarious position.

Personally, I like the name 6minutes for this publication. It’s catchy and memorable and nicely irreverent. But sadly, it’s not all that pertinent anymore.
Fourteen-minute medicine is where we're at but I’m not sure it has the same ring to it.
Anyway, for those of you who always suspected six-minute medicine was a bit of a furphy,
