What has been your most embarrassing moment at work?
Attempting to reassure a patient and their family, I pulled my stethoscope forward from my ears. It snapped shut on my nose causing a torrential epistaxis.

Malaria. It’s one of the greatest impediments to human development.

The Life of Pi – charming, thought-provoking and occasionally impenetrable.
