Chemist admits steroids rort with banned GP

Maged Sedrak, 59, whose Kogarah pharmacy has been linked to the ASADA sports doping scandal, gave evidence that about 30–40% of his work was on referral from Kogarah GP Dr Gregory Wilcox.

This situation created some economic imperative to his dispensing of “scripts“ from Dr Wilcox which did not take the form of legal prescriptions, the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal was told.

Mr Sedrak, a compounding chemist, said Dr Wilcox would itemise drugs to be dispensed, such as anabolic steroids, on cards or slips of paper
