Coroner blasts doctor over 'seriously inadequate' autopsy

NSW's deputy state coroner has recommended a doctor be stopped from undertaking post-mortems after finding one of his autopsies to be so manifestly inadequate that the cause of death could only be declared "undetermined".

Investigating the possible murder or suicide of Bradley Miller, whose body was found on the banks of the Murray River in May 2013, Coroner Helen Barry produced a scathing report highlighting the inadequacies of two autopsy reports produced by medical officer Peter Robinson.

She has recommended authorities consider not accrediting Dr Robinson
