Epstein-Barr virus: the villain behind seven autoimmune diseases?

Medical writers tend to eschew phrases like ‘ground-breaking’ and ‘breakthrough’, but I have no qualms about awarding these accolades to a study that has linked Epstein-Barr virus (EBV)  to no less than seven autoimmune diseases.
