Govt promises $1m for doctors' mental health

The government will invest $1 million in mental health programs for doctors, following the tragic suicide of registrar Dr Chloe Abbott.
Recalling the January death of the young doctor-in-training, health minister Greg Hunt vowed at last week's AMA national conference to develop a program aimed at preventing suicide in the profession.
