Headache was subdural haematoma: GP censured

A GP who did not keep adequate clinical notes for seven patients or, among other failures, initiate treatment for herpes zoster early enough, has been found guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct.

A Professional Standards Committee inquiry into a Health Care Complaints Commission complaint about the assessment, examination and management of the patients by Dr Nasim Romina between January and March 2013 when she worked at the Macarthur General Practice in Campbelltown, NSW, has resulted in a caution.
