Manipulate or investigate?

Mumbo jumbo, quackery, pseudo science, religious fervour — all terms used in recent weeks in response to claims chiropractic treatment of children is curative.

These accusations are not new but have resurfaced with a vengeance following the widely reported case of a four-month-old Melbourne baby with a suspected fractured vertebra following chiropractic treatment.

The chiropractor in question was cleared of misconduct but the repercussions rumble
