The nightmare hurdles of sleep testing

It was an undercover operation.

HAVING had a myriad of medical tests, nobody was the wiser, so I was booked for an overnight sleep study to be followed by a heap of sleep latency tests the next day.

My hospital admission at 8:30pm was already pushing the limits of my normal bedtime.

I was wired to track eye movements and teeth grinding with electrodes all over my head, prongs in my nose, additional probes to my legs and fingers to assess movements and oxygen saturation.
