Nurse used insulin quack therapy to treat cancer patients

A nurse who gave cancer patients insulin as part of an alternative treatment to boost their chemotherapy has been found guilty of professional misconduct in NSW.

In a case brought by the NSW Health Care Complaints Commission (HCCC), nurse Nola Fraser was alleged to have administered IV insulin to several patients with lymphoma, testicular cancer and breast cancer.
