Passion is meeting community needs

WHEN Dr Funmilola ‘Funmi’ Kamolafe moved to Broken Hill from Nigeria 10 years go to be with her husband, little did she know she would go from nursing a baby to becoming an integral part of the city’s primary health care service today.

The mother-of-three, who is a GP, has developed such a strong attachment to the outback NSW mining city, she has now worked alongside 11 other doctors at Broken Hill GP super clinic, Outback Family Practice for a decade.
