Pharmacist keeps rego after PSE discrepancy

The NSW Health Care Complaints Commission sought the deregistration or suspension of pharmacist James Chau, alleging he supplied about 9000 packs of pseudoephedrine (PSE) products for non-therapeutic purposes between February and November 2011.

It also alleged irregularities over the supply of testosterone and anabolic steroids between February 2011 and January 2012, as well as insecure storage of Schedule 8 drugs, at Mr Chau’s Kingsgrove pharmacy.
