Plastic surgeon cleared of Botox misconduct

Dr Haertsch did not dispute that he made the cosmetic drugs available to registered nurse Rosalie Piper, who administered them to patients at his practice over 18 months to December 2011.

Last year, Ms Piper was suspended from practice for three months for acting without the direct supervision of a medical practitioner and without authorised prescriptions. 

The nurse, who said she had inherited a system in use for 18 years when she took the once-weekly position at the clinic, was sanctioned for breaching a 2005 protocol
