Sex with ex-patient: GP reprimanded

But the doctor, identified as Dr T, denied it was inappropriate to have entered into a sexual relationship with the woman, whom he had known as a professional colleague for 10 years and treated as a patient for seven.  

Giving evidence to the Professional Standards Committee of the NSW Medical Council, Dr T said he had asked the woman, Patient A, to dinner in February 2012 when they were both visiting Sydney.

He said he was surprised when the conversation became personal, and flattered when Patient A invited
