Short sprint backed for exercise hypoglycaemia

A short sprint is a reliable way of preventing post-exercise hypoglycaemia, even when there have been prior episodes, endocrinologists from WA have shown.

Patients with diabetes are often deterred from doing moderate exercise because of the risk of post-exercise hypoglycaemia, researchers from the Telethon Institute for Child Health Research note in the journal Diabetologia this week.
