Sleep earlier and stay safe! Night owls take more risks
A study from the University of Chicago revealed that sleep patterns are linked with character traits and behaviour instrumental to short-term mating strategies, particularly for women.
It also found that male night owls reported twice as many sexual partners as male early birds.
The participants – 110 males and 91 females – provided saliva samples to assess their cortisol and testosterone levels before and after a computerised test of financial risk aversion.
