I recently received a hospital discharge letter that included a radiology report on a fractured spine. An addendum stated it was not a convincing fracture. The discharge summary recommended the patient have a repeat x-ray in a month.
What should I do?
Meanwhile a CT scan from the same admission described a tumour that required follow-up. This was not mentioned at all in the discharge summary. One was left to ponder whether or not it was a convincing
