Triple Pill aims to simplify hypertension management

Following on the heels of the “Polypill”, Australian researchers are now seeking to revolutionise the treatment of hypertension with a one-size-fits-all ‘Triple Pill’ containing three low-dose antihypertensives.

The concept, developed by researchers at the George Institute for Global Health in Sydney, is that management of hypertension is often ineffective because of the cumbersome requirements of stepped care and tailored care.
