Why a little respect would go a long way for future GPs

I’m very lucky that I love my job as a GP. However, some days it’s hard to love.
Multiple times a day, I find myself cursing under my breath at hospitals, Centrelink, imaging providers, the media and others.
I feel frustrated that my choice of specialty means I’m limited in helping my patients get the care they need.
And much of this frustration stems from a poor understanding of and respect for what happens when patients present to their GP.
