Insurers facing the prospect of payouts are lodging AHPRA complaints about GPs who allegedly delay handing over entire medical records.
The news comes amid growing concerns about pressure imposed by insurers on doctors, and suspicion that the companies want to scour the records for pretexts to deny patient claims.
