Brexit leaves doctors feeling 'unwelcome and uncertain'

The repercussions of the Brexit vote may include a mass exodus of European doctors from Britain, the British Medical Association warns.

Four in every 10 European doctors working in the country say they are considering moving out, according to a survey.
The British Medical Association polled 1193 doctors and found that 42% may leave the country, with a further 23% unsure.
NHS data show that among NHS staff in England, 59,796 are from the EU, including 10,267 doctors, which is around 6.6% of the UK's medical workforce.
