Funding problems plague New Zealand GPs

A lack of investment in primary care means some GPs will go out of business, the New Zealand Medical Association warns.

Dr Kate Baddock, who heads up the organisation’s GP council, says funding issues also mean fewer doctors in New Zealand are likely to take up general practice.
