‘A soul-destroying, form-filling, foolish endeavour’: Doctors reveal their experiences of the CPD regime

This week we published the results of our survey on the Medical Board of Australia’s revamped CPD requirements for medical registration.
The top-line result found that 82% of the 890 doctors taking part believe the system introduced last year should be scrapped.
As we as we noted, this seems a very far cry from the board’s claim when announcing the change in 2021 that the reform would “increase the value of doctors’ lifelong learning”.
The AusDoc survey collected more than 450 comments from doctors documenting their experiences.
