Once through the shock of his multiple myeloma diagnosis, GP Dr Peter Goldsworthy had a thought: ‘What great material.’

The award-winning writer was now in the patient’s chair, experiencing the reality of chemotherapy and the hard life choices it necessitated.

He has documented his experiences in his new book, The Cancer Finishing School. You can read an extract here.
