GPs will get notice before random accreditation checks, says RACGP

It wants to make accreditation less burdensome by spreading out the workload

GP practices should not fear a sudden knock on the door because they will get some prior warning before any accreditation spot check is carried out, the RACGP says. 

The college is pushing the idea of more frequent audits, claiming the accreditation system is inefficient and burdensome for practices that face a single inspection every three years.
