RACGP finances back in the black with $20 million surplus

The RACGP has reported an almost $20 million surplus for the 2023/24 financial year, just 18 months after it cut 50 jobs to help balance the books.
The college had warned of major deficits back in 2022, due to inflation and pandemic-related costs, and cut 7-8% of its workforce in early 2023.
Last year, it said it had a three-year recovery plan to break even in 2024/25.
Its annual report, published this week, showed it has achieved this goal early.
