Celebrity heart and lung transplant surgeon Dr Nikki Stamp has copped flak on social media after jokingly recommending Pete Evans’ cookbooks as a toilet paper alternative — a suggestion he claims isn’t possible, because the pages are too glossy.
The outrage began after Dr Stamp suggested those hard-up for toilet roll use anything written by Pete Evans, among others, in a since-deleted Twitter post shared on the celebrity chef’s page:
