Watch: Professors Michael Kidd and Brendan Murphy answer GPs’ coronavirus questions
The Federal Government’s two most senior medical advisers have answered questions from GPs about the COVID-19 crisis in a session streamed online.
The Government’s new chief medical adviser, GP Professor Michael Kidd, was questioned about issues such as shortages of masks and other PPE in general practices, and the rules for using the telehealth items added to the MBS earlier this month.
He was joined by Commonwealth Chief Medical Officer Professor Brendan Murphy for the session on Monday afternoon.
