The RACGP could do a whole lot more to support GPs

I am feeling cynical about the 25 CPD points the RACGP is allocating to GPs for coronavirus-related learning.
Could the generosity of this move somehow be related to the fact that membership renewal to the college was due at the end of June and there may be alternative opportunities, other than the college, available for counting one’s points in the near future?
Is it a bribe?
Does the college realise that GPs are always researching how to best treat their patients, and that dedication is not just limited to the occasion of the emergence of a new disease, even if it happens to be a pandemic?
