News emerged recently of the attempt to protect AMA Tasmania from future peril.
It’s struggled in recent years, its viability was on the line. It has just four staff to support its members. One of the options is to share both IT and administration resources with the federal AMA.
So as a result, AMA members are being invited to vote on changes to the AMA constitution at the AGM this week to pave the way for what is in essence a state-federal merger.
