GPs like to be ahead of the game. By nature, they are slightly eccentric, obsessive compulsive, maybe a little neurotic — a little paranoid even.

And all the chickens have come home to roost with COVID-19. For me, it was a few days ago.

In the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, with the world under siege, our Prime Minister has clearly been telling people to go home and stay there.

But trying to get people to comply with the rules of the game is another matter.
