PLAN to help ask the right questions

PLAN, launched this week by NZ’s Health Quality & Safety Commission (HOSC) as part of the country’s inaugural Patient Safety Week, is simply an A4 flyer inviting patient input.

On the PLAN leaflet, P stands for Prepare for your visit, L to Listen and share, A to Ask questions and N to Note down what you need to do next. The back of the flyer has space for patients’ questions and notes.
