Trainee doctor quits election race over links to radical group

A TRAINEE doctor and Labor candidate who was hoping to unseat Health Minister Sussan Ley at the upcoming election has quit amid allegations he is close to a spokesman for radical Islamic group Hizb ut-Tahrir.

Christian Kunde, who was standing in the NSW seat of Farrer, said in a statement he'd step down in the interests of the party after The Daily Telegraph
