Urologists honoured for bravery in quake

In February last year, 600 urologists and nurses were attending a conference in Christchurch when the magnitude 6.3 earth­quake struck. 

The Urological Society of Australia and NZ (USANZ) awarded the inaugural Christchurch medal – struck from metal recovered from the rubble of the venue, the Crown Plaza Hotel – to Lydia Johns Putra from Ballarat, Stuart Phillip from Brisbane, Stephen Mark from Christchurch and Julian Shah from England.
