Gel may be dynamite for the male libido
A topical treatment containing tiny doses of nitroglycerine is being tested as a remedy for erectile dysfunction.
Trials in the UK are now under way to see if the experimental gel, which is applied to a man’s genitals shortly before sex, holds any real promise.
Consultant urologist Dr David Ralph told the Daily Mail that he believes the treatment could be useful for those with mild erectile dysfunction.
“Previous studies have shown benefits and it seems to work quickly,” he said.
