Nursing federation loses costs appeal

An application filed to the Fair Work Commission late last month on behalf of corporate practice operator IPN, Allied Medical Group Holdings and Lonnex & Millennium Management Holdings requested the companies be awarded costs to cover the expense of countering the ANMF application.

The original application — affecting nurses working in 682 practices mostly in Victoria, Tasmania and NSW — made by the ANMF (formerly the ANF) was rejected by the commission in June this year.
