Doctor reprimanded in connection with two deaths

A GERIATRICIAN has been reprimanded for failing to properly examine and treat three patients, two of whom died while under his care.

Dr Jenson Chum Sum Mak, a staff specialist geriatrician at Gosford Private Hospital in NSW between 2011 and 2013, was found guilty of unsatisfactory professional conduct by a Professional Standards Committee for failing to create proper management plans or records for the patients.
