Foot health education: put it in writing

When it comes to educating people with type 2 diabetes about foot health, written information works better than seeing a diabetes educator in an interactive group session, research from WA has shown.

Giving patients written information about foot health resulted in a greater improvement in foot health scores over a three month period compared to attendance at a group audio-visual education  session, a study from the University of WA has shown.
