GP conference or 'wellness' expo? At times, it was hard to tell
This year’s annual RACGP conference featured the college’s latest initiative: ‘Shaping Australia: one GP at a time’.
I had vaguely noted the phrase on one of the many college emails we receive, but it was only as I was looking up the program to plan my schedule that I paid any attention.
The blurb stated that as frontline defenders of Australia’s health, we GPs are best placed to change the shape of the country.
By looking after our own mental and physical wellbeing, we are better equipped to help our patients.
