Laughing gas assaults: Dentist found guilty
A SYDNEY dentist accused of indecently assaulting young female patients while they were under nitrous oxide gas has been found guilty of five charges.
Rodger Leighton breathed heavily when the third guilty verdict was announced by the jury foreman at Sydney's District Court on Wednesday.
The 79-year-old pleaded not guilty to six charges of indecently assaulting four girls from 1973 and 1984 but has been found guilty of all but one.
The victims were molested at Leighton's surgery at Jannali in Sydney's south.
