Former GP accused of quack medicine following stem-cell death

THE doctor who carried out an unproven liposuction stem-cell procedure on a dementia patient who later died has been accused of quack medicine by a NSW coroner.

It was "disturbing" that Dr Ralph Bright "would market this 'experimental' or 'innovative' therapy for profit to vulnerable and desperate people in the full knowledge that there is little scientific support for the 'therapy' in relation to dementia", said Deputy State Coroner Hugh Dillon in his damning findings.
