Lower BreastScreen detection rate drop prompts review
BreastScreen SA (BSSA) has written to around 155,000 women screened with either analogue or digital technology between September 2010 and December this year to advise them of how the review affects them.
Women who had a digital mammogram after 30 June this year or who were screened using older analogue technology during the time period under scrutiny will not be included in the review.
