GP on trial over alleged sex offences
A WESTERN Australian GP tried to kiss patients, touched their genitals and fondled their breasts under the guise of doing medical examinations, a jury has heard.
Ranjit Kumar Panda, 59, is on trial in the WA District Court accused of 11 counts of indecent assault and two counts of sexual penetration without consent, allegedly committed against eight women in Bunbury in 2012.
Most of Dr Panda's complainants were aged in their early 20s. One was 17.
In his opening address, prosecutor Justin Whalley said the doctor offered patients Pap smears and skin cancer checks,
