Breast ‘nuzzling’ GP struck off
The NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal earlier found Dr Mohammed Naiyer guilty of two counts of unsatisfactory professional conduct for incidents involving two female patients on separate occasions in 2011.
Last week, it found Dr Naiyer guilty of an additional count of professional misconduct and cancelled his registration, without leave to reapply for 18 months, in view of the seriousness of the conduct and his failure to convince the panel of his contrition.
Patient A gave evidence that Dr Naiyer invited her into his office, after a procedure to remove a mole from her buttock, to examine a mole on her right breast that she had expressed concern about.
The 25-year-old said that as Dr Naiyer examined the mole using a dermascope she could feel his head moving in a circular motion over the top of her breast.
